Charlie and I are so fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends. Friends we stayed with in California last year, visited this past week, above photo.  Hossein and Ziba had left their home a few weeks ago and have been driving across the US from LA visiting friends and family along the way and just simply enjoying life.

I have finally decided to fix my walkway to my main door to my studio.  Penmor Construction is doing the fabulous work and I can't wait until it is complete to show...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you are able to spend time with family and/or friends. The above photo is of my granddaughter Sophie getting ready to fly a kite. Perfect weather for it and she is a natural and has the instinct when to pull.

I have been busy dyeing wool fabrics and yarns for the upcoming hook-in, in Sussex New Brunswick on the 19th. Hope to see you there. If anyone would like me to bring anything custom dyed let me know.

October is such a fabulous month! So bright, colourful, full of life is our October. She can surprise us and be very warm as we witnessed a few days this past week. We never know for sure exactly when Fall will make her appearance.  Yes I called Fall a 'her', I'm allowed, it is my blog. The nights slowly become a bit cooler, we sleep better for the coolness. It then seems BAM! Suddenly we are saying, this is too cold, I need a sweater, brrrr, I can't sit on my deck, it is too cold.  What happened to Summer?  I think I have mentioned before, I'm a firm believer of the season you are born in, is typically your favorite season.  Mine...
