Fibre Gatherings Road Trips & Friends

What a wonderful week we have had weather wise in Nova Scotia for the beginning of September, we are so blessed. Friday, some like minded fibre friends and I traveled to New Glasgow for the Woolstock East Fibre Festival. Wonderful day and above we enjoyed a meal in Pictou by the water. Has been many years since I had visited Pictou, reminds me of Lounenburg, NS.

Milestones

This past week, children, teens and young adults returned to school in Nova Scotia. A milestone for many, i .e. First day of primiary, or junior high, or high school, or university. Either way, nerves for students and teachers alike were high. Now it is time to get down to work!

That’s A Wrap!

The Labour Day long weekend is usually greeted with mixed feelings. The end of summer, and children are back to school. Enjoy every last drop that you can of summer.

Summer Continues


We have been blessed with some beautiful weather the last week. The above photo was taken at the Victoria Park in Truro, NS.

Camaraderie

What has always drawn me to rug hooking, has been the camaraderie.  The act of rug hooking continues to be enjoyable but it is the people that keep me doing it. I began rug hooking in 2006.
