That's a Wrap! April 30, 2023
It is official, we are now into spring! I know per the calendar it was actually March 20th, 2023 but the beautiful weather and early popping of perennials and the growing green grass will soon need to be mowed are all indicators to me, winter is now behind us.
Last week, I attended the first hook-in, in three years, hosted by the Colchester Heritage Rug Hookers. It was a fabulous day, lots of people I hadn't seen in awhile. Below are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

I don't know about you but I love when the clouds are big and puffy. I took the above picture the other day that reminded me of the clouds you see in the middle of the summer. I remember as a kid laying in a field just watching the clouds go by. I think I would like to try that again but will I worry about a tick landing on me? Grass in my hair? Ants crawling on me? Probably but I don't recall worrying about any of those things as...
Road Trip, April 16, 2023
I went on a road trip last week with some wonderful friends, to PEI for a wonderful rug hooking work shop with a wonderful teacher, Linda Marchbank. The workshop was how to rug hooking an Elaine Harrison work of art. Did you notice all the wonderful words I used? We had so much fun! The group of ladies in this course were spectacular! This was the first workshop put on by Periwinkle Laine (Charlene and Debbie), they were simply a delight to chat and hang with and so knowledgeable.

The above bunnies were hooked by Carol Cowan. The bunnies were a free pattern from the Rug Hooking Magazine. Carol said they were a bit of work to put together but fun to do. Thanks for sharing with us Carol! I thought they were perfect for our Easter Sunday blog.

Changes, April 02, 2023
It is with profound sadness that I share that my dear Charlie, has gone over the rainbow bridge to doggie heaven. He was in his sixteenth year and he lived a good life. No more Walmart greetings for my customers. This life change I could have done without, he was a good dog and I'm happy I had hooked his likeness several years ago above. My cat Chubs sure misses him as well.
I have been busy knitting and therefore no new rug hooking projects until my course on the 12th...
