Balancing Life’s Curve Balls



How do you handle ‘curve balls’ that come your way? I believe life is ‘full’ of changes, things are not meant to stay the same. I have said, ‘we all have shit, just different shit’. Is It Still SPRING?


We have been spoiled with the beautiful weather and warm temperatures. We hope it continues. The above photo is of a plant here at the cottage that the previous owners left us. It has been continually flowering the past few months, it is gorgeous. Any ideas what it is called?
I haven’t hooked on anything in the last week. So much outside work...


Blooming Season


The dandelions are in abundance once again. Do you do the ‘no mow May’? I love this time of year, the leaves on the trees have popped or ready to pop. The perennials have broke through the ground which means unfortunately so have the darn weeds.  Hard to keep up with those weeds.

Mother's Day

 

Today is that special day a year we recognize all 'women' who 'mother'.  Whether by birth, adoption, caring for another or whether the caring is for an animal, we are 'mothering' and wouldn't be here, if not for a mother.  I am so fortunate to still have my mother here on this earth.

Busy Schedules

I don't know about you but man my April has been very busy!  I'm not sure how I had time to work full time when I did work! It will be 5 years July 1st, since I retired and those 37 years before retiring seem like a blink of the eye but at the time seemed like retirement would never come.
