Mother's Day

Today is that special day a year we recognize all 'women' who 'mother'.  Whether by birth, adoption, caring for another or whether the caring is for an animal, we are 'mothering' and wouldn't be here, if not for a mother.  I am so fortunate to still have my mother here on this earth.

I have so much to write about and to share.  I may have to leave some for another week.  Where to begin.  The above photo shows a few of us who traveled together to Rug School last week.  What a week, we had a super time!  If you join to be a member of the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia (RHGNS) you will receive a quarterly 'Loop' keeping you informed of events going on in your Region.  Someone asked me at rug school how I keep up on all the events going on.  I responded there are many ways like being a RHGNS member, Facebook postings and friends.  I will try to do a better job of posting here as well upcoming events and information so you too can join the fun! If you would like to let me know of an event to post in my blog, just email me the info at dellaackles@outlook.com.  Now get your calendars out and record the below events in it!

In the mail this week; Ann Irving finished up this lovely rug. Background purchased from Della's Rug Hooking.  Thanks Ann for sharing!
