My daughter has a friend visiting from the UK and yesterday we drove around Advocate, NS and visited Cape D'or.  The above picture is off the point there at Cape D'or.  Beautiful landscape we have all around us here in Nova Scotia. I love seeing how green everything is, the leaves and blossoms are all out. We went to Spencer's Island as well, walked on the beach, the water was so calm. We then went to Five Islands, enjoyed some seafood.  Was a fabulous day.

In the mist of all that is going on in our world today, adding one more tragedy may be more than some can bear. We need to show compassion to those suffering, the victims, the school, the police, health care workers and each other.  We don't always show the world what is going on inside of us. Tell those you love that you love them, know you are loved no matter how hard it gets.  Remind yourself of the 'good' all around us, if we choose to see.  Above is my...

The weather we have been having of late has been pretty gosh darn good here in Nova Scotia.  Today was a very warm one. We will take it.  I believe last week I talked about leaves ready to pop. You can see from the above picture, in Halifax blossoms have bloomed and leaves are sprouted.  It has been a busy week for my family, graduates, birthdays, and family togetherness.  So many things we haven't been able to celebrate for so long since COVID.  Fills one up!

I started another Ultra Punch...

I was fortunate to visit the exhibit of Beyond Van Gogh last week with some wonderful rug hooking friends. Letters written from Vincent to his brother Leo, were shared and it was clear Vincent found beauty all around him and painted it.  I was watching my sisters dog Hershey the other day and standing around outside while Hershey did his business and it forced me to stop and take in the beauty all around me.  The beauty of nature is always there but we don't often take the time to enjoy...

Honor those that have loved and looked after you when needed, whether they are blood or not. Don't forget to tell those you love, that you love them, today and every day.
