When 'everything' works great, it is great, but when things don't work right, it can frankly be a nightmare! I have been writing my blog I think since 2015. I always say, 'I really don't write about anything much' but my readers tell me they enjoy it and I thank you very much. I find it a fun thing to do.
My blog posts disappeared from my web site and 'some' are back but not in the order they were written but I can't do anything about that now unfortunately but 2025 is in order.
I finished a sweater called a 'shrug' that I have been working on. It was fun to knit.
I finished a little Tulip pattern I was working on. It was a free pattern given out at last years Shubenacadie Hook-In. We are to bring them back hooked this year for a display. It will be interesting to see the same pattern hooked by several people. At the pop-up in Dartmouth I purchased some hand dyed nylons from Leslie of Creative Ewe, having no idea what I was going to do with them. When I decided to start the Tulip pattern, I had the perfect nylon colours to incorporate into this rug. I used hand dyed wool fabric as well as the nylons. It was fun to hook with the nylons but do I need to do that again? No.
In the mail this week; Diane Benoit finished up this beauty she is calling Rocky, her pattern. well done Diane.
Margie Anderson finished up these two lovelies below. The first is a Delf pattern by Ruth Downing the second Periwinkle Laine Jellyfish. Great work girly.
My mom (Joan) is giving up quilting and is selling her lovely quilting frame that many hand made quilts were completed on and her entire family has enjoyed using the beautiful quilts over the years and for many more years to come. Spread the word if anyone is looking for one. It was handmade and fits king to baby size quilts.
Have a great week everyone!
