The above photo was taken from the beach in Mexico, in the very far distance you can see a cruise ship. I didn't take the photo but Jaden did, great photo. Charlie and I had a great time away last week in Mexico, it is nice to get away but even nicer to be home. The below photo Charlie and I are hamming it up at the Mexico airport.
I don't have my Celtic rug done as of yet but getting close so I will have an update on that next week. My Icelandic cardigan I am knitting is coming along, the body nearly done then just the sleeves left to do. I seem to be on a knitting spree, Christine Little had posted a photo of her recent knitting project, a Russian Wedding Ring Cowl so of course I had to do one as well. Started it yesterday, knits up so quickly. I'll also share a photo of that next weekend as well.
In the mail this week; Aileen Cassells finished up this lovely rug she did for the Canada Games project. Aileen did the pattern herself. It is to represent cycling. Well done girly. Most of the wool supplied by Della's Rug Hooking Studio.
Sheila Wilson shared this lovely rug she did pattern by Della's Rug Hooking Studio. She plans to make it into a pillow.
Kim MacKenzie finished up this pattern she designed for the Northport Loopers Mystery Bag Challenge. Members were provided a bag of 4 textures and a brooch and asked to make a rug using the items along with any other materials for a display this summer in Northport. Well done Kim!
Have a great week everyone!
