September Begins, September 09, 2023

September is starting off here in Nova Scotia, very warm and high humidity. The above photo was taken by me of my flowers (ligularia) that only bloom in September.  What was weird, they are actually gold in colour but my camera on my phone would only take them looking yellow. They are very beautiful in person.

Last week was a fun week, our group in Northport had Ruth Downing teach us her Saint Nick course.  Ruth is a fabulous teacher and we all learned a lot.  Below is my progress of my santa so far.

Below is our group photo, what a great bunch of ladies!

In the mail this week; no customer photos of rugs to share this week.

Have a great week everyone!

  • The flowers are lovely but I agree that the camera cannot capture what the eye can see. Glad you enjoyed the Santa workshop . Ruth is a great teacher . Can’t wait to see yours finished as well as the ones from Gayle , Leone & Morah when they come to hooking with our group .See you on the 18th if all goes well .
