I have said many times, there is no better group of people to belong to than the rug hooking community. We support & encourage one another and have loads of fun. I shared on Facebook a video by Jane Fonda regarding growing old and how we need to look at it another way. She encouraged people to join an art class of any sort for the exact reasons I've mentioned above. The community aspect of getting together with other like minded people, helps keep us young.
I have finished hooking the bear face of my granddaughters Christmas stocking. I am now working on sculpting, this will take awhile still.
I bought this little sheep from a shop at the Fisherman's Cove boardwalk in Eastern Passage, NS. I had never been and I can't wait to visit it during the summer.
Shelley and I got together to do a Wooly Wreath, kit by Toni at The Keeping Room, Maine. This was so fun to do and easy! Going to be making more this week.
In the mail this week; Shelley Myers finished another tree rug, her pattern. Thanks for sharing Shelley, it is lovely.
Susanne Martin shared her completed rug, pattern by Della's Rug Hooking called Tall Flowers. Great job Susanne!
Diane Benoit finished up the border on her Winter Wonderland rug, pattern by Linda Marchbank. Very nice Diane, thanks for sharing!
Brenda Roberts forwarded me this lovely rug, most of the wool, but one leaf is by Della's Rug Hooking. Only the finishing left to do. The pattern is Brenda's own design. Lovely Brenda, thanks for sharing!
Have a great week everyone!
