One of my friends refers to us as ‘roadies’. We like to travel to lots of hook-ins near and far. This past week we were gone rug hooking nearly every day.
Tuesday we attended the Colchester Heritage Rug Hookers annual hook-in. A fine time we had, getting inspired by everyone’s wonderful projects, winning door prizes and/or baskets of goodies. These ladies sure do know how to do it right!
Yesterday we attended the annual Catherine Mercer hook-in. We were fed and delighted with all the hooked rugs. Country Mat’ers did a wonderful job!
The roadies were to attend a course from Ruth Downing on Friday but she had to cancel as she fell and broke her ankle. We are thinking of you Ruth, do take care and hope you heal quickly!
Two weeks from today, the roadies will be off to Rug School at Mount Saint Vincent.
I have finished my Oxford punch piece, pattern by Loopy Wool. I just need to press and decide how I will finish the edge.
In the mail this week; Kim MacKenzie finished up this lovely piece, pattern by Jane Steele. Lovely Kim! The brooch just adds to it.
Diane Benoit finished up this latest stair riser, pattern by Lori-Ann Lingley. Beautiful Diane.
Gayle finished up this lovely pattern by Della's Rug Hooking, called Nova Scotia. Good job Gayle.
Barb Murray finished up this lovely pattern of her own. The sky she used 'fantasia' wool fabric hand dyed by Della's Rug Hooking. It is lovely Barb!
Have a great week everyone!
Love your blogs, Della. That is quite the Motley Crew you travel with. LOl What fun, life is good!

Great to see you at Truro and Shubie this week Della. I guess I’ll be seeing you at Springhill on May 15th as well. Lots of hook-ins to look forward to. Take care!
