You have heard me say many times, being around like minded people lifts one’s spirits. Inspires you creatively. My friend Diane and I travelled to Bangor, Maine this weekend to attend the annual Downeast Hook-In. We stayed with her friend Gaby, what a delight she is (center above).
A few mats of Gaby’s, I snagged a couple of photos. The first is a Seasport pattern the second a hit & miss of sorts using torn strips of wool fabric. Both gorgeous!
A few photos for your enjoyment at the hook-in.
I was delighted to have these three ladies visit my studio this past week. Left to right, Mariane, Loretta (Laurie), and Nancy from the US, enjoying a week in Nova Scotia scouting out wool shops. Thanks for visiting my studio!
At our Wednesday Springhill rug hooking, these lovely ladies dressed up for the occasion, Donna and Pippa, you guys look fabulous!
Progress on my rug, I am now officially working on the border!
In the mail this week, Susan Shephard shared her progress on her Holly pattern by Della’s Rug Hooking. Keep up the good work! Background is Three Wishes over sparkle wool hand dyed by Della’s Rug Hooking.
I had a wonderful birthday week, thank you everyone for the birthday greetings, sure makes one feel cared for.
I am still in Maine until tomorrow so I apologize if type and photos aren’t centered. It is difficult to do on my phone.
Have a great week everyone and remember to share your love of Rug Hooking!
Your wools are so gorgeous ! Glad you had a good birthday !
Looks like a fun time in Bangor Della. Happy belated birthday 🥳 wishes
