One day a year, we are reminded to be thankful and grateful for what we have surrounding us. Some days, that may be hard for some to recognize. I am so thankful to live in a country that is not at war. I am thankful and grateful for the beautiful sun. I am thankful for my rug hooking community of friends and clients. Tracey Kinsella let me rob the above photo from her. I thought it was perfect for today's blog. I hope it makes you smile as it did me. I think when we can be thankful for what we have, we can share more with others. The gift that keeps on giving.
I finished the new mini punch pattern I purchased called Mandala #2 and is now available in my shop. It was fun to do and I decided to not hook the outter light green ring, I felt what I had was enough. I am excited to see it mounted on a wooden board, I'll post once my brother in-law gets one made for me.
So many lovely hook-ins and retreats coming up before the end of the year, so thankful to be able to gather with other like minded fibre artists.
In the mail this week; Lynne Lines finished up these beauties. Thanks Lynne for sharing with us.
The above two crows pattern has Della's Rug Hooking colours in it as follows; the sunflower has Fall Maple, the dark green background is Joyful Teal and the words were hooked with Pumpkin.
Have a wonderful week everyone.
Thank, you for sharing these lovely works of art.
