We are getting some rain here in Nova Scotia. We need it as the ground is very dry. I visited my daughter in Halifax and her family for the weekend. My youngest granddaughter Alina, who recently turned one years old, finally will let me (Mimi) hold her! Was a monumental moment for me. She is such a sweetie.
I finished my Celtic design called Field of Knots, pattern by Gail Lambert. This was a fun project to do. I'm not sure if I will make a pillow, frame it or just whip the edges. Decisions, decisions.
Members of The Friends Hook Nook group in Springhill, hooked this lovely rug below that tickets are being sold on to raise monies for community services in Springhill. If anyone would like tickets just let me know and we'll make arrangements. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.
In the mail this week; Lynne Lines finished up her Celtic design by Gail Lambert called the Tree of Life. Well done Lynne!
Dwight Gallagher showed off his lovely barn pattern which will be a teaching tool at Rug School for him. It is fabulous, well done Dwight.
Carol Cowan shared this lovely 3D apple she hooked. The wool fabric for the apple is from Della's Rug Hooking Studio. The apple measures 4 1/2" high, felted stem and bottom pieces.
Pauline Verstraten finished up her VooDoo doll she has made for the Mystery Bag Challenge. Polly is so talented, well done!
Barb Murray finished up her large Dahlia pattern by Della's Rug Hooking Studio. Barb made this for her granddaughter who loves pinks and purples. So beautiful Barb, thanks for sharing.
Have a great week everyone!
